Hi Jean-Marc, it's sad to think about Mars in Cancer in war and the effects it could have on children. I hope we don't have a spike in children becoming war soldiers.
Yes it's a sad reality. As for interpretations, especially when considering a placement in general, out of a particular context, it's essentially metaphorical. I wish all children peace.
Great post Jean-Marc, I so love how you inspire thinking! what came to mind for me was the stay at home dad, perhaps working from home and bringing up the kids as the mother goes out to work.
And I have a female friend who has Mars conjunct Saturn in Cancer and she will come into a home and take over the kitchen as a force of energy and efficiency that makes others (me!) stand back and watch!
This is good timing, I've been thinking a lot about my own Mars placement and it's role in attraction-repelling in the opposite sex. The gender role issues of today complicates things even more, as I'm not a feminist and most men today seem to align themselves with feminism or at least pay lip service to it and assume that I will too, because contemporary Western culture demands this from everyone now

Best wishes to your adventure and Astro Stories.
